Luke 21:28 “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” II Timothy 3:12-14 “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them.” We are living in a world that is descending deeper into gross immorality. It is a spirit of the antichrist. I John 2:18 “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” These are not days of fear. But, rather, days of rejoicing. The promise of Scripture is that Jesus Christ is coming again. The time of God’s judgement is rapidly coming upon this world. Consequently, we must redeem the time. We must do everything we can to win the sinner to Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” The believer must keep his eyes focused on the things above. Our hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ.
