Ephesians 2:8,9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” God is still in the business of saving sinners. Man is born in sin and separated from God. However, Jesus Christ came into this world for the purpose of delivering us from the bondage of sin. There is only one way to God and that is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Man is always trying to devise his own way to approach God. Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Without Christ, there is no hope, no life, no forgiveness, no fellowship, no victory, no cleansing, no redemption, no atonement, and no heaven. We have nothing without Jesus Christ. Will you trust Him as your Saviour today? Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
