Hebrews 13:4 “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” Matthew 19:6 “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” From the very beginning God has put His stamp of approval on the special relationship that exists between a man and woman in marriage. It is the foundation of human society and the formation of a home. Yet, many people do not regard the significance of a marriage built on the Word of God. Henry Ward Beecher said, “The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.” So many people live their lives chancing after everything the world has to offer. They are trying to find acceptance and value. However, God has provided a nurturing relationship through marriage. Our marriage is to be an illustration of Christ’s love for the church. Jesus is the groom and the church is the bride. Our children need to mature with a longing to be married one day. Our married couples should strive to remain in love and committed to each other. II Corinthians 5:14 “For the love of Christ constraineth us…” I has been said, “God’s intervention in the vows, ceremonies, and our lives is magical! Marriage, which is strong and solid, coupled with God’s blessings becomes rock solid and cannot be broken by anything.”
