Hudson Taylor said, “It will not do to say that you have no special call to go to China. With these facts before you and with the command of the Lord Jesus to go and preach  the gospel to every creature, you need rather to ascertain whether you have a special call to stay at home.” An unknown author states: “The best remedy for a sick church is to put it on a missionary diet.” Statistics show that two thirds of the world’s population is still unsaved? And it is estimated that 1.6 billion people have never heard the Gospel –  not even one time. Yet, many Christians are well aware of the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” The promise of God in Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The call of God, the commissioning of God, the command of God, and the conscious presence of the Holy Spirit of God directs the Christian to be a soulwinner. Our response is simple. Either we are obedient or we are disobedient. We have a responsibility to share the Gospel here and around the world.
