Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” II Corinthians 9:7,8 “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” Next week is the thirty-eight anniversary of the Ocean County Baptist Church. We are asking you to pray about a special, sacrificial offering on that day. We need to purchase another school bus, remodel our bathrooms, and do major repairs on the heating system in the gym. It is always amazing to see what God can and will do through his people who are willing to be used for His glory. Every ministry in this church is support by God’s people giving by faith. The General Fund, Building Fund, Missions Fund, Others Fund, and Special Offerings, all provide the means through which we can do ministry. Every financial gift is used for the furtherance of the gospel and for souls to be saved. As we prayed about what we should give, may we give with great faith believing God to do mighty things beyond our control. The Apostle Paul stated in Philippians 4:16,17 “For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.” To God be the Glory!
