John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Jesus is talking with Nicodemus concerning the salvation of man. Many people believe that their religious affiliations or actions are the means of going to heaven. However, Jesus is very clear that there must be a new birth that takes place. Man is born in sin. Thus, he is separated from God. The only means of being restored in fellowship with God, is by being “born-again.” John 3:7 “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” I Peter 1:23 “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” If man could be saved through his works, then it would be necessary for Jesus to die on the cross. However, Jesus suffered such torment and disdain. He took all our sins and died in our place. He arose victorious over the grave; thus, defeating, sin, death, and satan. Consequently, you must believe and be born-again or you are lost and doomed to spend and eternity in hell. Yet, you can trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour today. Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
