Dwight L. Moody said, “Church attendance is as vital to a disciple as a transfusion of rich, healthy blood to a sick man.” Hebrews 10:25 “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Many people look at church as a convenience rather than a necessity. However, a vital part of our spiritual growth depends upon being faithful in church attendance. My wife and I got saved in 1979. No one took time to disciple us. We simply began going to every church service and function. It was through the local church that we grew in our faith and felt God’s call to ministry. I have watched people flounder in their walk with God and many times it is due to missing church. Ephesians 3:19-21 “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” I thank God for our church. It is a place to worship; a body to minister, and a family to love. Let’s go to church!
