Psalm 103:1-5 “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” We live in a world that is saturated with negative and destructive thoughts. It seems that everywhere you turn there is someone trying to rob you of hope. However, we place our hope in God. The Psalmist reminds us to not forget the benefits of being a child of God. Hallelujah! We have a God Who forgives our sins; heals our sickness; gives us life; and extends mercy. He is the One that satisfies our every longing. If you are discouraged, turn to the One that gives hope. If you are defeated, trust in the One that gives victory. If you are not sure you are saved, then believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9,13 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
