Job 3:26 “I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.”
Job 14:1 “Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.” Job had a perspective on life in real time. He was suffering – not for doing wrong; but for doing right. Sometimes things happen that just seem to be out of step with that which is just and good. However, even in those times we can worship and have faith to believe God. Job 1:22 “In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.” These are days in which we must be guided by faith and not emotions. We trust God and turn to Him for the assurances that we need. Psalm 121:1,2 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” An old preacher said, “The future is a bright as the promises of God.” II Corinthians 4:16 “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.” Colossians 2:6,7 “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” Remember that God loves you and you can trust Him to protect and provide for you.
