Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 5:5 “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” II Timothy 1:12 “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” Our prayer is that our teens will make some great decisions for the Lord. Every parent and every church member should strive to embrace and develop those commits to the Lord. I am always amazed when Christians act ashamed of the zeal and commitment that many teenagers or new believers will have for God. Rather than quenching the spirit; let’s fan the fire of revival in their hearts. Rather than settling for mediocrity, let’s press for supremacy of faith. The Apostle Paul was not ashamed of the gospel; nor of his Savior. His challenge was for other believer to have courage and stamina in their walk with God. The Christian life should be an exciting experience for the teens, the parents, and the church. Ephesians 1:12 “That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.”
