Two weeks from tomorrow will be the first day of school for Ocean County Christian Academy. It is always exciting to see the children return to school after being off for the summer. Psalm 127:3 “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” It is a thrill to know that your children can go to school in an environment that encourages and promotes their relationship with the Lord. The secular culture is constantly changing the truth of who we are and who God is. However, in the Christian school the student realizes that they are a special creation of God and God personally loves them. OCCA is a place were the student develops physically pure; matures intellectually sound; and grows spiritually strong. I Thessalonians 5:23 “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” There is a battle to capture the heart and soul of our children in America. The Ocean County Baptist Church stands on the authority of the Word of God and promotes obedience to it. Every church member, school faculty, church staff, and volunteer must be faithful to pray and mentor our children to stand for God. I John 3:7 “Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.”
