This past week was exciting at Vacation Bible School. We had a great number of children come and many children trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Matthew 28:19,20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” The amazing thought is that God still has a mandate for us to fulfill. The preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is still powerful enough to save a lost sinner. We opened the door of salvation for many people this week. I want to say: “Thank you” to everyone who planned, worked, taught, helped, and prayed this week. I Corinthians 10:31 “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” The name of Jesus was lifted up. The testimony of the Lord was revealed. The power of God was experienced. To God be the glory!
