Proverbs 31:28-30 “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellent them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.” What a powerful role and impact a godly woman has on her family, the church, and the world. It has been said that “A mother’s heart is a child’s classroom.” President Roosevelt said, “No nation is greater than its mothers.” And Abraham Lincoln stated, “No man is poor who had a godly mother.” What a challenge and great responsibility is laid upon our mothers. The Apostle Paul states in Titus 2:3-5 “The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.” In a world that is corrupt and so out of touch with God, we need mothers who will walk with God, teacher their children, and mold a generation that will turn the world upside down for Christ.
