Revelation 21:5-7 “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” The new year is coming upon us quickly. I am thankful that there can be new life through faith in Jesus Christ. I am confident that you can have new life and be assured of heaven if you will trust Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. As a believer in Christ, we know that each of us have made mistakes this past year. However, God can give you a fresh start and a new beginning if we will only turn completely to Him. Ephesians 4:24 “And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Let us enter into the new year with a spirit of revival. All our sin has been laid on Jesus Christ. And all His righteousness has been imputed to us. Consequently, we have an obligation to walk in true holiness. D.L. Moody said, “The world has yet to see what God can do with a man fully consecrated to him. By God’s help, I aim to be that man.” May we have that resolve and determination to be a Christian that exemplifies the very character of Jesus Christ.
