Luke 19:10 “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Mark 6:34  “And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.” It is very clear from Scripture that the heartbeat of God is the conversion of the lost. God has offered the greatest sacrifice for only one reason; that men, women, boys, and girls will be saved. This truly places a burden of responsibility on us to seek the lost. If God was willing to save us, then why are we not willing to share the good news of God’s forgiveness, mercy, and grace? The greatest demonstration of selfishness is for a Christian to keep the way of salvation to himself and refuse to share the way to heaven with others. None of us would be saved, if no one had revealed to us this great salvation. Romans 10:14,17 “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?…So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” We must tell them that Jesus loves them, will forgive them, and will save them, if they only believe.
