II Timothy 3:14-17 “But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” The Word of God is so precious to us. It makes wise unto salvation. It provides soundness in our doctrine. It gives clear instruction on righteous living. It is our source of strength in accomplishing good works. Our confidence is based on the fact that the Bible is inspired or breathed out by God. It is, in fact, the very words that God has spoken to man. Consequently, it is without error, unchangeable, and eternal. It is the final authority in our faith and practice as a Christian. Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:140 “Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.” Psalm 119:160 “Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.” David Jeremiah said, “Spiritually, we have marginalized the Bible. We’ve trivialized marriage, and we’ve neutralized the church. America today is in great turmoil. It feels like the soul of our nation has been taken from us.” We must turn back to the Bible, the precious

Word of God!
